Harold Brown was the Sectary of Defense in Jimmy Carter’s Cabinet. As Secretary of Defense he helped to lay down the Camp David Accords.

 

His card reads:

“Freedom is the opportunity to use one’s talents and abilties, inborn or acquired, to the fullest extent possible, coexistent with the equal rights of others.  It includes the right of philosophic and scientific inquiry, of expression of opinion and the exercise of religion, among other rights.”
